Madras Week 2013

August's theme is Madras 374.

The contest is now CLOSED.

Photos can be a potent tool in understanding history. For instance, the image of a little girl running down a bawling, naked road has described the horror of the Vietnam war more eloquently than all the scholarly articles on the subject.

During the ongoing Madras Week, The Hindu invites its readers to use this tool to create a pictorial record of our city.

The photos that make an eloquent commentary on Chennai will be published in Downtown.
